About WellnessHome

Why WellnessHome exists.

WellnessHome explains how living spaces affect health and where practical improvements can begin.

Our mission

Make the health effects of home easier to see.

Ventilation, moisture, daylight and room layout affect our daily exposure, comfort and routines.

WellnessHome is an educational platform for examining those conditions. It translates evidence into useful questions for the people who live in, rent, design, build and care for homes.

Advice must account for local climate, housing, culture, resources, regulations and the people sharing a home.

What we cover

Seven pillars for everyday life at home.

Pure Air, Natural Light, Nourishing Kitchen, Non-Toxic Materials, Circadian Harmony, Mental Sanctuary and Sustainable Living form the framework. The current library brings together research sources, practical guides and editorial profiles. Expert interviews and documented home studies are part of the longer-term ambition.

How we work

Open questions. A visible method.

Evidence with context

Material claims link to identifiable sources, and limits stay beside the finding.

Local conditions matter

Guidance must be adapted to local climate, housing, culture, resources and regulation.

Ownership and funding

Ownership, funding and commercial interests belong where readers can find them.

Ownership and governance

Trust depends on a visible method.

WellnessHome was initiated by the team behind Magppie. Magppie is also profiled in the directory, so this relationship belongs in plain sight. We aim to examine work across the sector, including organisations beyond Magppie.

The current site is an early editorial initiative, not an independent certification body. Directory inclusion does not verify a product’s health performance. Our advisory programme has not yet published appointed members.
